Currently I’m walking about 2-3 days a week, playing basketball one day a week, and lifting weights 5 days a week including jump rope with every weight workout.

  1. Exercise, lots of jogging, forget walking. Its going to take a long time for you to see improvement, but I started running 6 months ago and my pulse is under 60 which is very good, but it sound like I’m younger than you. But if its too high, you need to go see a doctor and get some medicine, its kind of dangerous. And also, stay away from any kind of stimulants like caffeine, nicotine, ephedra, etc….

  2. Well you can do this by
Having blood pressure & Cholerstrial levels Checked regularly then work out for 20 -30 minutes or more at least
    three times a week

  3. You’ve made a good start but I would delete the weights for now. High intensity exercise can raise blood pressure. Stick with aerobic activities until you get it down.
I also recommend you add a program called Breatheasy. It uses a specially designed, but very easy, breathing method proven to lower blood pressure. It combines this breathing method with relaxing music on CDs or mp3. It’s almost effortless.
What’s more, it uses a type of music called Sonosync that also slows your heartbeat. It’s the best natural method I know of to lower blood pressure because you actually do something yourself rather than just pop a supplement or other “miracle” cure.
