Many have hoped for something to deliver better results for lowering high blood pressure and reducing the incidence of strokes and heart attacks. It sounds good. But we shouldn’t forget that in many cases its our lifestyles that have caused these problems. Also, the cause of high blood pressure in most cases, unlike, say, Polio, is unknown. The vaccine will still only address the symptom of high blood pressure and not its cause.

However, it is encouraging to know that there is a fix that doesn’t require a life time of pill popping.

The injection works by tricking the immune system into neutralizing a hormone which commands blood vessels to constrict and increase blood pressure. An ongoing clinical trial involving 72 participants with mild to moderate hypertension indicated a decrease in blood pressure. The injection is best taken early morning when strokes and heart attacks often occur.
